I’ve been a recruit since August and I feel it is the best workout I’ve ever done. Everyday is varied, fun and challenging. I cannot wake up without getting in one of my “Boot” workouts with Jason. The Boot is one of the most invigorating workouts you will ever do. Each class is different and the combined workout with weights, ropes, bands, running or jumping jacks (just to name a few of the exercises) keeps me fit and toned. Not only have I lost weight, but inches as well. Jason is fantastic and encourages you all the way. I highly recommend Jason & The Boot to anyone who is looking for a high energy workout that is FUN! When I first saw The Boot on the morning news I thought it was so cool. Not having worked out for more than 14 years, I locked the thought of it away in the back of my mind. When I was finally ready to change my life from an obese women, I remembered The Boot story. I signed up for my first class with several of my very fit girlfriends (who are always looking to convert another person to the “get healthy side”). I was very impressed at how comfortable Jason made me feel and explained how each exercise could be modified for my very out of shape body. I even got to walk while the others ran. Well, his patience must have worked on me because I have continued going and am working my way up to going five times a week. My family thinks I am crazy, they are not used to this girl who didn't like to sweat or exercise getting up at 4:45 am to go work out. After each session Jason is there to look at my food journal and offer advice about my eating habits, never judging what I had eaten the day before.

Jason is an awesome instructor. Jason is always there with a great attitude and ready to make us sweat. He makes sure we get an hour long intense workout. He makes sure that everyone is working out to their own physical levels that could be extremely intense to making sure you are doing the right exercises to prevent injuries. He wants us all to reach our personal goals. I usually dread working out but it is no longer a chore for me, I actually enjoy our exciting and challenging classes and this is the most challenging of any boot camps I have joined. To whoever is debating on joining The Boot:

I needed a kick to start up my workouts. With Jason you get it, but with a lot of caring and concern so that you do all the exercises with the right form. He cares and doesn't want you to hurt yourself. He is a very friendly and trusting person who you will immediately feel comfortable with.

I feel like I get a lot of energy for the rest of the day with his workouts. Everyday is a different workout with new challenges because he says he is trying to mix with your mind so it never knows what’s coming. You definitely never get into a rut or a routine! He mixes it up nicely with tension bands, jump ropes, weights and partner exercises. It starts with stretches and ends with stretches which are something you learn to appreciate!! Come and join the challenges with nice people! I'm definitely getting The Boot.

I have been doing cross-training workouts for the past 30 years and I'm always looking for ways to keep my workouts fun and interesting. I was in a bit of a rut and decided to give The Boot classes a try. I was so thrilled to be sore! I know that sounds weird but it is hard for me to feel truly challenged because I have been working out for so many years. The classes are organized, fun, and you can make it as hard or easy as you prefer. Jason is great with giving modifications to pace your fitness level but has a healthy way of pushing you to do more. I find his humor and light hearted approach refreshing and inspiring. It is the perfect addition to my routine!

I started participating in The Boot just over two months ago with the urging of my wife after not regularly working out for over 15 years. When I previously exercised it was with weights and the machines at the gym. I stayed clear of aerobic exercises, especially the group sessions. With this in mind, I wasn't sure how I would like The Boot's program. With two months behind me, I am very much hooked on the program that Jason puts together every morning. I'm surprised at how much energy I have at work after the early morning work outs and I feel I'm missing something on days I'm not able to work out.

I remember when I used weights to build up muscle tone and strength and wasn't sure how a one-hour session at a park would substitute for this. Jason has done an excellent job of putting together exercises that in two months have brought back muscle tone and strength to my arms, legs and chest and to other muscles I've never previously used even when lifting weights. It is amazing what Jason can do to help you build your strength using a few light weights, bungee cords, and different types of pushups, pull-ups, dips and other strength exercises.

Jason offers exercise options so that you can participate in each exercise at a level you feel comfortable. I like this because as I've gotten stronger and improved my endurance, I'm still challenged by trying to do the next most difficult option. He has also helped me work around a tennis elbow injury and provided outside information to help in the healing process. Finally, the best part of his program is that he mixes up his work outs each time. When you arrive for the work out, there is anticipation (and some dread) each time on what the next hour will bring. This keeps you guessing and most important, keeps your muscles guessing. You won't be bored after several weeks thinking; "Oh, if this is Monday, then this must be sit up day." With Jason you never know what he'll have you do that day and don't ask him because he won't tell you until he has you do it."

It's my 3rd month of The Boot; I've now lost 12 lbs and feel like I'm just around the corner from being in the best shape of my life. The workouts are fast-paced and intense, yet very doable for anyone who's serious about putting forth a little effort. I've got 3 kids, (ages 5 or younger) and like everyone else- I lead a very demanding lifestyle. Fitting in a quality workout for my own health was very tough to do until I got hooked up into Jason's program. You'll be surprised at how much you're able to get done in just one short hour! The thing I love most about The Boot is that you get results! Whether you are there to loose weight, build muscle or just keep in shape, Jason customizes the workout just for you so you get exactly what you want out of your workout. Plus he provides guidance with what you’re eating so you get the most out of your workout and have lots of energy during the day. It’s like having your own personal trainer without having to pay a ton of money for one. And it doesn’t matter if you are just starting an exercise program or are already athletic because he provides multiple levels of resistance with each exercise so you can pick which level is right for you!

6 months ago when I signed up at THE BOOT I had no idea how it would change my life. I’ve worked my ass off (literally), but NOW I finally, at 40 years old, I have a new found understanding and appreciation of the benefits of exercise and a healthy diet.

A huge bonus is that I feel great, with my energy off the charts, and I am proud to mention that I have built muscle and reduced fat, losing over 30 pounds & 45 inches. I have made some really great friends which I have enjoyed along with the workouts (and activities) every single time!

I have been signed up with The Boot for around 3 months now and I LOVE it! The program is challenging and never the same. The workouts are as tough or as easy as you make them and have lots of variety. If you want nutritional help, it's there. If you want workout advice it's there! Jason has years of experience and knowledge available to you if you just ask for it. I also believe that he cares about your well being and success. Since joining the boot, I have noticed significant changes in my overall appearance but most of all, I feel stronger and healthier and have a better frame of mind because of attending the classes. It's fun having a group of people to work with, because we are all there for many of the same reasons and it provides a sort of camaraderie for all.

I don't think there are many people who actually enjoy working out, exercising can seem monotonous and just starting a days workout requires a level of motivation that I generally lack. Starting at The Boot, or any fitness program was probably the hardest step towards a healthier lifestyle. It's telling yourself that you are ready to get in shape and make the commitment to finally do something about your goals to live a healthier, and for me personally, a more physically fit lifestyle. Once I did get started, I found that there was no monotony in the exercises that we were doing. There's constantly a change in exercise from one day to the next and also a change from one segment of class to the next. This constant change keeps things feeling new, you definitely don't get bored and best of all you're working out different muscle groups. Even muscles you didn't think you had are feeling it! Though this is a boot camp style workout where the workouts are tough, Jason doesn't play the roll of the drill sergeant. He is very encouraging and provides multiple options for the more challenging exercises so each individual can work at their own level. Motivation also comes from fellow exercise mates. The Boot provides a great atmosphere where people encourage each other to do well and there is a sense of camaraderie as everyone works towards a similar goal.

I have to say that I've been attending these boot camp sessions and Jason is the real deal! The location and price are both unbeatable, and the sessions are challenging, varied, and fun. I highly encourage you to check it out before the classes get too full.

I have repeatedly tried going to gyms for exercise in the past. In each case, I quickly became bored with the monotony of the routine and frustrated with the lack of progress. As a result, I dreaded the experience and would stop going after only a couple of months. Based on this history, I was very skeptical and apprehensive when starting "The Boot". I had visions of the gym with the added "benefit" of a drill instructor yelling at me to push harder through the same boring routines. After my first day at "The Boot", I was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival, Jason immediately helped me feel welcome, asked if I had any previous injuries, and quickly alleviated my anxieties by explaining that I should work at my own level. After the workout, Jason checked back to ask how I felt and give advice for lessening the soreness in my muscles that ultimately followed. When it came to exercise, I previously had no motivation whatsoever, especially at 5:30 in morning! With Jason's constant support and encouragement, however, I actually find myself motivated, pushing harder through each and every exercise, even at 5:30 in the morning. I would have never thought this possible before starting "The Boot". In addition, I am now cooking and eating healthier using Jason's nutrition guidance. To top it off, "The Boot" has actually produced results. After only 3 months, I am 2 sizes smaller and 10 pounds lighter. Jason, thanks for helping me reach my potential.

What I like best about "The Boot" are the results. After only 10 weeks, I've lost more than 15 pounds and 2" around my waist and my core body strength, cardio endurance, and overall stamina has never been more robust. But it wasn't easy!

Jason's workouts are exhausting. What we accomplish in 60 minutes used to take 2+ hours in the gym, and I could never push myself this hard on my own. Jason uses positive reinforcement and encouragement to instruct and motivate the entire group while, at the same time, tailoring the workout to meet my specific needs, abilities, and physical condition. The overall effect is a fun and contagious atmosphere where the effort expended by other recruits fuels my desire to push harder, enabling me to attain performance levels that were previously out of reach.

When I first started, Jason was very adept at alleviating any anxieties and welcoming me into the group. He carefully assessed my overall heath and conditioning, inquired about injuries, explained the workout regime, and carefully guided my execution. Jason typically provides 2 or 3 options for each exercise, allowing the pace of the workout to be regulated by my own individual conditioning level and injury status. The workouts are never boring. Jason consistently mixes up the routine, keeping us guessing as to what's next and breaking up any residual monotony with current events and amusing anecdotes. Jason also provides diet guidance and regular monitoring of weight, body fat, and other metrics to help get me closer to my overall health and fitness goals.

"The Boot" is the total package: exercise, diet, and camaraderie. It's also the best exercise bargain around: personal trainer results at group prices with multiple classes per day. As with most of life's activities, what you take out of an event is highly correlated with what you put into it. At "The Boot", Jason gets me to put in the most.
